The Oasis Subdivision
Redding
Description
A 143-lot single-family subdivision on 48.6 acres in four phases, with open space along Dry Gulch Creek, a 2.1-acre future dog park site, and road connections to Oasis Road and Gold Hills Drive.
Impact summary
The smaller project keeps the intermittent creek, avoids the eight-lane overpass and other heavy road improvements from the original plan, and adds a signalized intersection at realigned Twin View and Oasis Road — making a long-vacant site near I-5 developable.

Redding Planning Commission - Regular Meeting - Jun 23, 2026
A use permit amendment and parcel map to shrink the old Costco-era entitlement down to a ~99,000-square-foot commercial center with hotels, restaurants, drive-throughs, retail, and a gas station, reconfiguring the site into nine parcels and relocating Twin View Boulevard. The hearing was continued to July 28, 2026 so condition changes can be worked out.
